The Sony World Photography Awards 2022: Adam Ferguson Wins Photographer of the Year

The Sony Environment Pictures Awards 2022 winners have been declared, with Australian photographer Adam Ferguson having the top rated title of Photographer of the Calendar year. Ferguson received for his Migrantes collection of black and white self-portraits of migrants as they waited to cross the border from Mexico into the United States.

In addition to the grand title of Photographer of the Year, The Sony Environment Images Awards acknowledges professional photographers in other categories which includes the College student Photographer of the Year, Youth Photographer of the 12 months and Remarkable Contribution to Pictures.
