Winter Art Camp (Ages 6–8): Art & Ecology

In this blended media course, choose inspiration from artists on watch who appreciate character and want to guard the environment. You’ll sculpt, paint, and draw with artist Beatriz Jaramillo.

About the Teacher

Beatriz Jaramillo’s perform addresses the landscape as metaphor and modality, highlighting the tensions produced by the artificial separation between character and society, and, in the approach, inviting the viewer to rethink their fractured partnership with character. Beatriz researched High-quality Arts in her indigenous Colombia, and, in Los Angeles, she acquired an MA in Art Education and an MFA in Studio Art with emphasis in Sculpture/Ceramics. Her artwork has been exhibited in many galleries and museums in the Usa and Colombia.
