Winter season Art Camp (Ages 9–12): Afro-Atlantic Histories & Local community

Pupils will explore community by means of artworks in the exhibition Afro-Atlantic Histories and will create their possess artwork encouraged by the men and women and activities in their possess neighborhood in this mixed media class. With artist Eszter Delgado.
This method will just take spot indoors on LACMA’s campus, Monday–Friday, January 2–6.
About the Teacher
Eszter Delgado is a Los Angeles–centered artist, educator, activist, and curator. She obtained her BFA from Cal Poly Humboldt with a Insignificant in Multi-Cultural Experiments and MFA from Claremont Graduate University. Eszter has taught artwork all over California, from the Hoopa and Yurok reservations in Northern California to the southern U.S.-Mexico border and in Maui, Hawai’i, at the Kamehameha College. Her perform responds to cultural and societal concerns and has been exhibited nationally and internationally. Eszter has participated in food stuff and h2o drops near the U.S.-Mexico Border, which informed her most latest installation challenge.

Pre-registration is demanded for all classes. Enrollment for Winter season Artwork Camp begins on November 16, 2022, at 10 am PST.
